Ever apply for a job online? Ever get sooooo excited because the company you applied for contacted you and gave you the impression that you were hired?  Watch Out! This could be a Scam. Be aware of Job Scammers.  If it sounds to good to be true or you are hired immediately online, Watch Out!

Online Job Scams — Watch Out!  Report to https://www.ftc.gov/:

  • You are immediately interviewed via “google hangouts” by an HR Manager who only gives his or her 1st name and their gmail account as the company account
  • Mystery/Secret Shoppers who ask you to pay money to participate in an assignment
  • Mystery/Secret Shoppers who send you a large checks instantly and ask you to wire money to other people, these checks are fraud and could cause you to owe the bank money if you try to cash them
  • Online Job contacts who do not have valid emails with a company name; use instead gmail.com, retailevaluation.com, yahoo.com, etc.
  • Online Jobs that require you to do a certain amount of work for a probationary period before you get paid, they are basically robbing you of your time to get free work done for themselves
  • Online Jobs who send you huge checks instantly as a result of your pay and acceptance as a Virtual Assistant immediate hire after a so called probationary period

Tip: If you ever feel you have been scammed, report to the Federal Trade Commission, if you wish you can contact the bank to make certain the signature is a legitimate approval signature for the amount of money the check is written for.

An ER Calling For America – “Please Help”

As we glance upon the current 2017 President Trump Administration, we can see that anyone can run the country. But it’s sad to say that anyone in this case implies a person without qualifications whom is simply in office because of his billionaire status quo, and whom is deficient in EDUCATION and CHARACTER. He has no clue of what it seriously takes to make sound decisions. America is not a company but a country, Sir! President Donald “Orange” Trump lives in make believe world and is honestly the definition of a “fetid imbecilic psychotic”.  President Trump, “you are fired.”

As compared to the 2017 Presidential Administration Operations, it seems ironic that companies currently do not desire to hire well educated and well skilled individuals whom can make a difference in solving the complex problem. But hire individuals whom do not have a clue about what they are doing, do not care, and create massive fiascos for others to clean up just like President Donald “Orange” Trump. We see this vividly in today’s workplace.  Although, companies post job descriptions on the largest Internet job sites; Indeed.com, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, and Monster.com with specifications of certain software skills, and professional degrees required before one can be considered, in essence companies are unfairly hiring persons like President Trump for the jobs. How companies hire individuals today is just one example of the influence of The Trump Style in action. As time expires, other examples of the Trump Style will influence and diminish the overall quality of life in what seemed to be once, ” The Greatest Country in the World, America.”

Why America are we settling for Trump Style?  This illustrates to all foreign countries that America is not what it seems and it stands for nothing. It may be the most powerful and admired country in the world but as we allow this counterfeit Presidential Administration to continue, we will become the country of no return. The country where deceit, and destruction prevail at all costs.

However, we can correct this by becoming community activists; practicing no resistance but insistence of the rights of all of the native American People when it comes to high-paying jobs, education, and an entitlement to a quality lifestyle.  https://hightowerlowdown.org

Today’s Repulsive Unearned Workplace Must Change!!

It is sad that America’s workplace has become a repulsive autocracy when it comes to management in various departments of operations; Finance, Logistics, and Customer Service.  Just a few days ago, some associates of mine who possess over 18 years of skillful talents experienced a strange situation at work.  He and a friend were hired to do a job as Freelance Consultants for a year assisting where they could while various employees were out on either maternity leave or vacation.  It was weird because each department that was using their brains had positive feedback and truly enjoyed the work that was being done by them.  However, as time went on, the managers of the various areas of operations they were assisting began to act peculiar.  They still spoke in the mornings as usual but there seemed to be a difference in the way they spoke in an attitudinal fashion all of a sudden.  It was like something was wrong but they desired not to communicate. My associates of course felt the hostility and began to ask questions like, “is there something wrong or is there something I should know about with my job?” The managers said, “oh no its not you, you are doing just great. In fact, I am very impressed with your work.””  My associates responded, “alright. Thank you, but you know we are open communicators and anything we do that is unacceptable, we hope you will feel free to communicate with us so that we can make a change. “The manager responded, “certainly, but once again, you have nothing to worry about. Keep doing what you are doing.””  Then about 2 weeks later my associates’ were informed that their services were no longer needed by the company.  The managers resolved their contracts.  What has happened to today’s workplace? There is no communication whatsoever anymore. Why are companies letting go of great talent for no communicative reasons or just because they can?  Why is it companies claim they are hiring but when they are blessed with talent, they treat the talent like there is a repulsive autocracy; micromanage and create a programmed, and controlled environment for them that is unfavorable?

We all understand that some stress is good, such as excitement. But how do you avoid pitfalls at work?  Do you recognize the things that cause you to be excessively stressed out continuously?  You have to use an effective strategy that sorts out negative impact items that may cause you to be unproductive.  Change your attitude no matter what you are going through. Try at best to be optimistic about your stressful situation.  Use your negative energy to replicate a positive impact. One way to do this is vacate your mind from stressful items.  Games are a fun way to do this.  How many times do you play video games with your kids or friends? Doesn’t your focus change no matter how hard your day at work has been?  No matter if you win or lose the game in this instance, the focus is having fun which is a mindful-based stress reduction. Releasing feel-good endorphins from doing something fun is the best way to reduce stress.

Do Employers Really Know Who to Hire?

Have you ever applied to a desired job online and are confident you will get hired? Then of course when you receive the email explaining that you do not have the experience the employer is looking for, you are truly disappointed.  Now you start doing deductive reasoning. You know it has nothing to do with your resume because your skills and experience stick like glue with the job description. For example, you have Oracle R12, and job costing experience as the job description desires for the ideal candidate. You also have experience working as a Team Lead and cross-training others. In addition, your cover letter is even an added bonus because it paints the perception of you being an “A- Player” when it comes to your work diligence. You go above and beyond your call of duty not only for creating a shine for your department, but the company as a whole. You are also a flexible type individual whom can work in a qualitative and effective mode as a Team Leader or a Contributor.   You are also described as a “Conflict Solutionist”.  Why despite your qualifications are you still not landing the job you desire? Consequently, what is it that employers are really looking for?

Managing Unexpectancy

You are a certified decision maker of many years. You work diligently with a strong initiative to solve complex problems and assist others the best way you know how.  You observe the workplace, and find solutions to the common problem. For each business case you encounter among all departments, you implement solutions. In addition, you not only do that, you go the extra mile to train your counterparts on how to solve complex problems with actual business cases.  This is not required of you but in the long run, it makes your manager look outstanding. Your manager applauds your efforts and reminds you that you are a “life saver”.  Nevertheless noise happens and things start to change. 
Don’t you hate it when your co-workers create challenging situations for you, although you help them, they back door the manager with negativity about you?   Don’t you hate it when you are getting adjusted to your new position but all of a sudden your manager wants to have a conference with you discussing how he or she is now in the “hot seat” with higher management because of you? How do you manage experiencing all of this irony? The answer is “creative communication”.
Communicate on a level that is not expected with your manager and fellow co-workers. Create a suggestion box for the department anonymously and welcome comments. Next after gathering a box full of comments, have a conference with the department excluding the manager 1st. Discuss all of the comments with everyone and use these comments to draft solutions. Lastly, finalize solutions and meet with your manager and present. Discuss how solutions were collaborated among the department. Discuss how the department clearly understands their duties as a whole according to the company’s operation handbook. Discuss how your diligence in the department has improved operations and include a chart to illustrate. Consequently, after your presentation it will leave the manager speechless due to the fact that you have undermined all of the negative department gossip he or she received. You have proven that the gossip in absolutely not true based on facts. Achievement: It will remove your manager from the “hot seat” with higher management because you have used the negative comments and created a positive impact.
